BETH L. EMMONS, LCSW

Beth Emmons is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has lived throughout the U.S. before taking root in Houston.  She studied Spanish and anthropology at the University of Notre Dame where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. She then earned a Master of Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2002.

For more than 20 years Beth has worked in non-profits and private practice settings serving adults, teens and adolescents. She utilizes evidence-based strategies and has specialization in the treatment of social anxiety, perfectionism, chronic depression, and other conditions associated with excessive self-control.

When she's not seeing clients, Beth loves to travel, cook and work on her 100 year old home in the Heights with her husband.  She is obsessed with her dog Steve.
